Wolf Creek Weimaraner Rescue, Inc. (WCWR) is located in East Tennessee and is a non-profit charitable 501(c)3 organization, which allows tax deductible donation to the organization.Since 1999, a group of dedicated volunteers has been caring for and finding forever homes for abused, neglected, and abandoned Weimaraners. Approximately 50-60 Weimaraners enter the program each year. The organization's existence depends solely upon donations, adoption fees, and fund raising efforts. Proceeds pay for veterinary care, food, boarding and essential expenses. WCWR's PASSION is to rescue, rehabilitate, and find homes for Weimaraners from animal shelters, found stray, abandoned, neglected or abused. We educate the public on responsible pet ownership, nutrition, and promote spay & neuter. We are dedicated to ending the tragedy of pet over-population by opposing puppy mills, pet stores selling animals, and irresponsible over-breeding of companion animals. PLEASE DON'T LITTER! Approximately FIVE MILLION healthy, loving, adoptable dogs and cats are killed in animal shelters in the United States each year because there are not enough homes for the millions of animals being bred. For every human birth, there are approximately seven cats and dogs born. Support your local rescue organizations and animal shelters by adopting your next pet and have them spayed or neutered. To make a one-time or a recurring on-line tax deductible donation to help support our rescue efforts, please use the PayPal option located at the top of this page. If you do not already have a PayPal account, sign up today - it's fast and easy. Just visit their website at www.paypal.com
