Update 4/10/10:

When I adopted him, Amber commented that even amongst Weimaraners his energy level on a scale of 1-10, was past 10.  He has settled down into a completely different dog.  Overall, he is one of the most mellow, unflappable and laid-back dogs that I have ever met.  All of my friends and coworkers who have met him are absolutely astounded by how friendly and easy-going he is.  (The only exception to that is he has exhibited random leash aggression only towards other large dogs, but we are working on this and he is improving.)  He is excellent with the cats... and thankfully other small animals.  Instead of charging for a skunk the other morning when we went out, he looked at it and then craned his head backward to grin at me with a look of, "Oooh, look mommy... a kit-ty!"  He does "tattle" on the cats... they are still not entirely sure what to think of him at times, and my bossy tabby will sometimes hiss at him if she feels her space is being invaded, whereupon he will sprint to me with a concerned look of "I swear I didn't do anything, really!!!"  We do regular walks/hikes in the woods at home, jogs at the Powell greenway and Victor Ashe Park, and walks along Melton Lake and at Haw Ridge... he is so well behaved in the car, and loves getting out for walks.  His house-manners and basic obedience are excellent too.  Rogue has quickly become a much loved family member, and he has certainly found his forever home because I could not imagine not having him in my life! ~ MaryAnn
