We realize that you have most likely thought long and hard before contacting us with this decision. Therefore, it is important for you to know that at this time we are receiving daily surrender appeals to accept a Weimaraner into our rescue. During our years of operation we have always taken most seriously anyone who has taken the steps to relinquish responsibility for their Weim and contacted us for help. This year has been unprecedented for the amount of dogs being surrendered not only to us but around the country. The most desperate plight is of the Weims who are left in shelters as in some facilities the dogs are only held for 3 ~ 5 days before euthanasia.

In these extraordinary times for rescue groups where we are finding it difficult to find new foster homes, adopters and quarantine helpers, we request that your Weim remain in your home until a suitable adoptive home is found.

We thank you again for putting your trust in our abilities to help your Weimaraner. If circumstances dictate that you must surrender your dog we are here for you. After satisfying adoption-ready requirements and submitting this application, Wolf Creek Weimaraner Rescue will list your dog on its website and evaluate potential adopters to determine your dog's next placement.
